VIVA LA VIOLETTE

VIOLETS!! VIOLETS!! VIOLETS!!
Those delicate little spring flowers
are usually seen as ground cover
in
the early spring.
Referred to as weeds by some,
affectionately

called flowers by others.
Well, there's that saying...

Beauty is in the eye
of the beholder

I guess that's true
I don't know about you,

but these don't look like weeds to me...

How about a Violet Cocktail??

Have you ever had these candies?
They are "Curiously" Violet
Speaking of candied...
Aren't these candied violets...
well......... sweet?
Gotta love a good cupcake

Go see the lovely Yvonne
at Stone Gable to see her post
and get the recipe for
PANSY SHORTBREAD COOKIES

You can even smell like a violet

That is, if you would like

Find this ring here
and this Platter here
This cute new little sign has just been
added
in my Etsy shop
Maybe you have a wall or shelf
that would
LOVE to be the new home
for this sweet little sign

So what do you think,
do these look like weeds to you???????????

I let the violets have run of my garden. They are just so sweet. And little violas? They remind me of little faces. Can't have enough of them!

Hi Gail,

Lovely post. I love Violets. The scent actually reminds me of Christmas when I was a little girl. I must have received a perfume that smelled of violets. I have them in my garden - they are gorgeous.

Absolutely gorgeous & most definitely not weeds! xxx
Why do I always love the cupcakes more than anything else, no matter what the theme of your blog is? I must need more sugar in my diet . . .
