LET THERE BE {CUTE} LIGHT

Want to learn how to make this cute doily lamp?
It's soooo cute and easy to do!
Soak your doilies in liquid starch

and drape them over a blown up balloon
resting in a bowl and let dry thoroughly
Make sure to place the center of
one of the doilies at the top of the balloon
Once dry, pop the balloon and you will
be left with your dried shade
Now you can cut a small hole just
large enough to thread
your bulb opening through
You can get these inexpensive pendant
lights in black or white at IKEA
That's it...it's that simple!
Now go and soak some doilies

TISSUE POM-POM TUTORIAL

Tissue Pom-Poms make a party
or event so festive!
They can be made in so many
different sizes and colors and look so fun
hanging in trees
or from the rafters

 on ribbon
 or invisible fishing line
You can even use a hole punch
 on the ends
and make it look like eyelet lace
Have you ever wondered how
the tissue Pom-Poms are made?

 Well ....

 here's how:

You'll need tissue paper
and 24-gauge white cloth-covered floral wire
1. Stack eight 20-by-30-inch sheets of tissue.
Make 1 1/2-inchwide accordion folds,
creasing with each fold
2. Fold an 18-inch piece of floral wire in half,
and slip over center of folded tissue; twist.
With scissors, trim ends of tissue into
rounded or pointy shapes.
Here's where you can punch
the ends to look like eyelet or
cut the ends shorter to make
smaller pom-poms.
3. Separate layers, pulling away
from center one at a time.
4. Tie a length of
monofilament (fishing line)
or ribbon
 to floral wire for hanging.

 That's it! It's that easy

Have fun folding and poufing!
