I'M DREAMING OF BASKETS

A Tisket... A Tasket
I'm DREAMING
about BASKETS

I BASKETS

So much so that
I have a huge collection of them
.
When we moved years ago,
I remember my husband saying
"Why are we moving all of these baskets?"
My response
"Why wouldn't we?????"
Silly husband, don't you know there are
SOOOOO many uses for baskets
and SOOOO many different kinds.
Take a look and see what I mean...

Going on a picnic
and bringing some wine
or storing some wine

They work if you're going on a trip
They make good
LANTERNS
or
LIGHTING
over a counter or table
Stenciled
STORAGE TRUNKS

or ones with LABELS

make great TABLES too

They're great to hold
or display things
Some are great just hanging around

Some have wheels

Some rest on shelves

or in closets

Some are BIG

While some hold plants

and herbs
There are even some...
that aren't baskets at all!!
Whatever kind you have,
I'm sure you'll agree
BASKETS
are great to have around!
You never know what you can use them for...
How do you use your baskets??

Well guess what? Yep, love baskets too!!!! My husband is always threatening to "get rid" of all my baskets. I have so many, I have alot of them stored in the garage - as you do. They just don't get it, do they??? Some fabulous pictures, thanks for sharing.

A tisket, A tasket I need another basket! Too much wicker is NEVER enough! Thank you for this feast of basketry. How about the outdoor playpen, I originally thought it was a trampoline and then had to pinch myself. It does conjure up a funny image though of little ones jumping up and down inside their wicker cage! Thank you again, Felicity. PS I am eager to read your future blogs, this was fantastic.
Gail that first pic with the sleeping babe is just too SWEET....LOVED the selection you put together....Now I'm wondering how I'm gonna fit some baskets in around here....hahahaha....!

Cheers for now,
Tamarah :o)

How do you find time to be so wonderful with Meghan graduating! You are amazing! That little baby...oh my....I think I need him :)
When I was helping my mom clean and reorganize her house, I realized she had an obsession with baskets. "What do you use this basket for?" I kept asking her and then finally, "What do you use this big basket for?" "To hold all my other baskets." Made perfect sense to both of us.

I am thinking I need to have another baby to put in a basket. Not sure hubby will agree...

But I definitely need some more baskets! I will take all of the ones you featured!

Enjoy the beautiful week, I hope you can find time to relax!
